Here Are A Few Of Our Favorite Podcasts for Bloggers!

Whether you are a lifestyle blogger or a travel blogger, podcasts are a great source of knowledge on how to get started blogging or taking your blog to the next level. Nowadays blogging podcasts are an important business, with lots of industry experts weighing in on the best practices week after week!

Lisa loves listening to podcasts. She likes to do it at home but especially when sitting on a bus or train. Compared to Bruce, she’s not that much into music so having something to listen to and learn from at the same time is amazing.

There are so many podcasts for bloggers, social media professionals, or any type of entrepreneur out there. Naturally, we can’t talk about them all. So, this is just a list of the podcasts for bloggers that we like and that have helped us learn and grow!

Also, if you are looking to learn more about blogging and/or improve your blog, we recommend the following posts:

Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield

This was one of the first business/blogging podcasts that Lisa started listening too. It’s not purely for bloggers, but if you want to make it more than a hobby blog, you should look at your blog as a business. For that, there is lots of great advice for you in Amy’s podcast.

She’s a Facebook expert so listen to her podcast if you want to give Facebook ads a try. She also has lots of great advice for creating webinars and offers productivity tips when it comes to online businesses.

Smart Passive Income by Pat Flynn

There are lots of bloggers who want to make at least some form of passive income such as money from affiliate links. For that, Pat Flynn definitely knows his stuff when it comes to making passive income.

That said, he also shares lots of helpful information and advice – either his own or through interviews with others (often with people who have inspirational stories). Pat also often talks about scaling/growing/building a successful business if you are interested in that topic!

Pro Blogger Podcast with Darren Rowse

This is a podcast more specifically designed for bloggers. Darren Rowse has been blogging for a long time and is seen as an expert in the blogging industry. We have listened to lots of podcast episodes and learned a ton.

We would recommend him if you want to get advice on how to improve your blog, tweak your writing style, or engage and grow your audience.

Darren also has a series where other bloggers come on the show and talk about how they were able to grow their blog. This series is useful because they also discuss successes and mistakes they made along the way – meaning you can get quite a few actionable things out of it.

The Science of Social Media by Buffer

If you’re a blogger, it is very likely that social media plays an important role in your business strategy. And with the ever-changing Facebook and Instagram algorithms, it can be hard to keep up.

This is where the Science of Social Media Podcast is great because they usually talk about these changes in their podcast and give you actionable steps on what you can do.

We also really like it because they either do interviews with people who achieved success or share interesting results from case studies that have been done. We would definitely recommend this podcast if you want to keep up to date with the world of social media.

Marketing School by Neil Patel and Eric Sue

One of the more general podcasts on the list, the Marketing School podcast talks about a broad variety of things that are interesting for entrepreneurs and business owners.

We originally started listening to it when we worked for a start-up, but even now as bloggers we can learn quite a bit from it. The podcast is great for bloggers because it makes you step out of the “blogging box” and think more in general business terms.

Lisa really enjoys the podcast because the episodes are very short (usually under 10 minutes) and they have a new episode daily. You can learn quite a lot in a short amount of time – and the podcast often includes actionable steps or things to think about. This makes it great to listen to while having your morning coffee.

Social Media Marketing with Michael Stelzner

Another classic on this list – we feel like any podcasts for bloggers list wouldn’t be complete without Michael Stelzner’s Social Media Marketing Podcast. Eric loves the intro – you’ll understand why when you listen to it!

Similarly to the Buffer podcast, he talks about all things related to social media – including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. but also lesser known social media platforms.

Michael focuses on not just social media management but also dives into details regarding social media marketing – so we would definitely recommend this podcast if you want to try Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter ads.

The Influencer Podcast with Julie Solomon

This is one of the podcasts we have started listening to not too long ago and so far it has been great. This one is specifically targeted at bloggers and social media influencers so you’ll surely get many actionable steps out of it.

Julie talks about lots of helpful things that are relevant for bloggers/influencers that are not covered in the other podcasts.

We like that she shares lots of inspirational case studies and success stories that can help keep us motivated, but also covers the basics such as how to grow a blog, make money from Instagram, etc.
